2008 年的目标

不知不觉讲师这份工已经做了9个月了，聪明的陈校长因为忙，所以我的confirmation一拖就是4个月。延长试用期都好嘛，干嘛声都不吭一声， 这个就是华人的聪明了，如果你要resign他就说已经confirm了，年底要发花红，那就对不起，你还不是confirmed staff.... 唉~ 所谓华人五千年的文明不过是这种勾心斗角的文明。

不过在INTI的生活还是蛮悠闲，毕竟不是大城市，没有浓烈的废气，也不会塞车。 有的老师可以悠闲的喝个茶，聊聊天，嗯~~到时间回家了， Yeah~~ 或者punch in之后回家看孩子...哎，让我想到我儿时中国机关（government）的生活方式。 不过不可以责怪他们哦，乖乖punch in的是好孩子了... 一个有10多年经验，CCNA Trainer都只有USD1,400/Months，你还怎么怪他们工作不勤力？华人的思维方式管理一间小作坊可以搞得有声有色，可惜做不了大事。

不过抛开一切的不开心，宽松的环境还是很好的。利用学校的平台，我也不停的给自己进修，MCSE, CCNA, Juniper, ITIL etc (得空我会把证书放上来，炫耀一下。).... 要不是在INTI，我没有时间，也没有精力可以考这样多的IT certs，虽然没有的加薪，但至少自己有少少的满足感，可以慰籍一下自己的虚荣心~~ 2008年，希望是一个好年。

PhD, 浪费时间不讨好，可以停停了。不过学校怎样答复，可不可以批准我的deferment就不得而知了。

论文还是要写写的，希望可以发表两篇，至少一篇论文。 不管怎样，一个没有发表论文的master好像很难让人信服。

CompTIA Security+, CCNP, CISA, CISSP 都搬上了时间表。 也不知道可以拿到几个。 证书多，就算找不到有钱的工作，至少也可以拥有一个吓死人的title...

移民...唉~~听说9月前的都在排队，现在officially一个case的处理时间已经延长到15个月。 如果可以明年12月拿到，这真的是我这辈子收到最好的一份圣诞礼物。

收入...因为移民推掉了RM3.8k/M的工。 明年要想升上3k是不可能了。不过开心就好，好彩我还不算一个生活奢侈的人，这点钱，还养活得了我。

希望2008是有收获的一年，也希望光顾我blog的朋友也要给自己订一个目标哦。

Migration Route

It has been taken so long for me to plan and to think leave my mother's country - China (the largest communism country in this planet.) but I really don't know where should I move or which country will like to take me - a communism citizen, until we met Ms. Jasmine, a very nice lady with great migration experiences and she changed my life.

University of Plymouth

The University of Plymouth, a place I pursued my first degree and master degree, is the largest university in the southwest of UK. The high student population makes it become one of the largest UK university.

The Guardian's national university league table ranked University of Plymouth 40th in 2006 and 35th in 2007 and it describle the university as "forward think university"

Proudly to say, that School of Computing, Communication & Electronics was rated 5 in the recent Research Assessment Exercise - denoting international execllence. My studying life in Plymouth is amazing part in my life. I spent great time with my friends and my lectures there. Plymouth people are friendly and helpful and there is a peaceful heaven in my view. Last, since southwest is low economic zone the living expenses is consider cheap compare with other majar english cities and if you are lucky enough you can get employed by MDEC center, Royal Mail just like me, they will pay you a great wages.

A Guideline on IT Industry qualification

Certificates are not only something that you can hang on the wall or add a pretty nice prefix to your name card but it demonstrate that you are professor in a particular field. This article is generally provide you some basic views about well known IT certifications.

There are plenty of certificates from different vendors, so probably your first question is what should I get first? Which one is more valuable? In 2006, CertCities.com did a survey for the top 10 hottest IT certificate [Nagel, 2006]:

Although, there are slightly differences in between, but it is not difficult to found that Microsoft and Cisco certs are still monopolise the market. As a beginner, you only need to think about what will be your direction (Programmer, Network Administrator, Security Engineer, etc.)? The start point could be:

Networking (Telecommunication): CCNA or CompTIA Network+ (Subject Code: 640-801 or NE0-003)

Shame on it....

The Tuesday's games are so disappointed. The match against FF5 shows there are many things Cowpow players need to improve: skill, passing, accuracy, position, control....There are still a long way to go if Cowpow manager wish to win his first trophy.

If I use the word "acceptable" lost for the first game, the second game is so so "unacceptable" lost. Although the uncles' team play quite dirty and it seems referee standing on their side. But I believe Cowpow were still able to take at least 1 point away to get qualified from group C. Both two teams were found lots of mistakes, waste chances in the game. There is no teamwork, no passion to win, no spirit. Every cows are sad but they must take the result and pay for their unconcern.

2 weeks are not very long, but I learn a lot through this tournament. Not only open my view on what is other "non-professional" players' skill, but something deeper on football. As manager Moulinyong said "to enjoy the experiences", yes I do and I will looking forward my further non-professional football life.

Friendly match on 25th Mar 2007 (Cowpow Vs Man City)

The Sunday's friendly is no doubtful won by Cowpow FC, Jeren, GY, 21, and on loaned malay star scored many goals (cant even remember how many goals in total). The fast and tough front line tackle seems bring lots of problems to Man City FC, few stupid mistakes cost them lost at least 4 goals. Bahrain millionaire striker scored few goals but also lost some chances, he is still trying to get back his best performance and hopefully he can find it before the important Tuesday's match.

He insist his players do not follow his strategy and refuse to tell all major media about his strategy. "I have no idea about Baharain player play which position, could be mid-field or striker, you will see it on Tuesday" He said.

"Ohame is still in Iraq Central Hospital, I am still working hard in the formation and please don't ask me who will play which position now. My answer is I don't know, because I don't even know who will come cyberjaya on Tuesday. Ohame and Saimun could dismiss on Tuesday's critical match I can do nothing in this situation, I may play keeper role myself, who knows it? The only man I can trust in this team is me, Moulinyong", he added.

The imported from China, bench player GuoYang told BBC, "I am so happy with my today's performance, I score quite a lot goals in this game". But it seems the misunderstanding between manager and him is so obvious. "I am not the person who can decide which position I play and what strategy adopt, only manager can do it."

But Cowpow manager does not agree, he told the reporter, "The management decide to import this player and I never think about this", "if he plays like this, I'd rather like to give him RM10 and send him back to China"; "My favorite player? Ohame is untouchable, because he save my job and the club on Thursday's game, Jeren is untouchable, Tofu Keeper is untouchable, yy, Nichi boi is untouchable because their performance...GY...em he must learn what is football in this country first. His successful experiences in his home country does not help him to win a place in first five here. He has many things need to be improved, and the first and the most important is listen to me." Manager Moulinyong drop a hint that GuoYang may not include in his first 5 against FF5 and SHFC.

Goal~~~~~

The game against Cocodile Holes was not that difficult as what every Cowpow players thought. The first 5 mins was quite tough, because the way of they playing, fast, sticky and tricky. Although I did not play the first half but I found it was difficult to control the ball. But things changed after ohame scored the first goal. That is absolutely fantastic goal. It seems we started to control the game and can play some strategy. He scored another goal at 7 mins and Japanese's goal at 10min actually already secured our 3 points.

The second half both sides were playing even more fast without the technique and no skill at all. Cowpow manager scored fourth goal as the corner kick direct goes in, keeper tried to safe but it was too late. The most excited moment came from the last 2 mins, Ryan (as known as 7- Shevchenko) use his nimble left scored unbelievable goal (and himself also could not believe it). The final result is 5-0 and Cowpow is currently on the 4th place of Group C. (Top 4 teams can go the round 2)

Ohame and Tofu Keeper (Saimun) shared the award of the best player in this match.
Moulinyong was awarded the best manager, anyhow all cowpow players know he did nothing but only deduct players' salary.

KL Traffic Jam

I stay at Sg. Long and work at Tmn Maluri (Cheras) where is a place of 19km far away. Usually It should take me about 20 minutes; and it is when I go there on every Saturday morning. But during the weekdays driving is a nightmare for me. It can take me as long as two hours.. OH MY GOD... I guess there are only two parties should appreciate traffic jam, one is radio station; the other is...em.. petrol station I guessed.

I should say I am a lucky person, because the traffic jam in Beijing, Shanghai is even more awful and lucky I am not living there. I should not compliant too much. But what I heard and I have seen is most of big cities should have "A good public transport system", and just be honest the communist China did well. (The recent news report that Beijing local government decide to reduce bus ticket price to RM0.1 per trip). Another example is London, they did fantastic job.

My view is if government cannot solve the "traffic jam" problem, at least they should try their best in building up an "acceptable" public transport system. I guess Datos' and big officers do not really understand that in this country, most of citizens (doesn't matter Malay or Chinese or Indian), or even most of foreigners, tourists do not have that financial ability to buy a car, even a kancil. (possibly the cheapest car in Malaysia)

To realise Wawasan 2020, I believe transport system is definitely one of the top 10 critical matter. Could it be solved in the coming 13 years? I have no answer.

Football Jersey

支持Chelsea是从1995年开始的。也正是那一年，我的偶像Ruud Guillet加盟了Chelsea。

第一件Chelsea jersey是2005年我在Plymouth求学的时候买的，连我自己都不敢相信那一年正好是蓝军的100年周年纪念。所以这件球衣就变得特别有意义。第一件正版球衣，第一件我所拥有的Chelsea球衣。

--My first Chelsea Jersey bought at Sport Center (city center in Plymouth). The high quality cloth with impressive design. (A special 100 years celebration edition.) It cost me almost 50 quids.--

正版球衣不论布料，印刷都是一流的，当然49.99 Pounds的价格也是一流的。 不过支持自己的球会，应该购买正版。（下面我会介绍我自己的翻版球衣，哎~真是不应该购买翻版。）

在Mobile88.com做工的同事David在Thailand 与Malaysia边境买给我的。价钱好有诱惑，所以良心就出卖给了魔鬼。 一件老翻售价RM40 （6 Pounds）

不过坦白讲，翻版的质量很差，布料不透气，而且在穿过一两次后很多地方都开线了，不过后面的名字和号码真的做到很像，连EPL的Logo都有，可以以假乱真。 不过经济允许，还是购买正版啦，支持自己的球会贵一点还是值得的。 至少要有一点诚意嘛...（Em...我这两件就缺乏诚意了）

--A shame to say that I bought two fake Chelsea Jersey. My colleague bought for me when he went to a place (I don't know the name) near the border line between Thailand and Malaysia. The pricing is as unbelievable low as only less than 6 quid, but the quality is a bit sucks. --

这件是我的最爱，David Beckham 真的拥有一颗热爱足球的心，不过追捧和诋毁他的人似乎对他的样貌更加感兴趣。 不过这些都不会影响他在我心中的地位。 希望David可以早日重回England National Squad, 踢满100场。

适逢球衣减价，所以我一次过扫货4件（2件Home, 2件Away）。

是不是有一点球衣痴狂症呢... 不过正版球衣的布料真得很好，又透气，又舒服，而且谁让我是England的Super Fans嘛，这样的机会不可以放过。

马来公司（Celcom）真的有钱，可以一次过请4位球星（Pires，Gerrard，Giggs， Owen）拍一个不知道在讲什么的广告。

因为我所在的公司与Celcom有生意往来，所以有幸拿到免费的T-shirt，而且一下子就有三件，两件Ryan Giggs（我和他一样叫Ryan），一件Gerrard，不过布料质量就......

Tournament Cancelled

Very disappointed day today, cowpow manager Monlinyong inform all cowpow players that the tournament is cancelled because of the court is made by artificial grass.

CYBERJAYA FUTSAL LEAGUE 2007

This is the first football tournament for me. My main targets in this tournament are
1) get the trophy and
2) be entitled as the "best player" (I can award myself this title since the organiser do not prepare this title and the prize for "best player") and
3) prove that I am still young, still can run like 18 years old and still can score.

The game will start on 20 March 2007 at Cyberview, Cyberjaya (Malaysia). I am looking forward for the games and I will report the results and update news here.
